Bardam respects your data. Below, in plain words, is what we store and what happens to it.
What we store
The food and calories you log, your workouts (exercises, weights, reps), your body weight, your profile (name, sex, birth year, height, goal) and app settings (language, theme). If you sign in with Apple or Google, the email and name from that account. If you allow it, steps, heart rate, HRV, sleep, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, skin temperature, weight, body fat, distance, energy and floors from Apple Health or Health Connect.
Where it's stored
If you don't create an account, all data stays only on your phone. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your profile, goals, food log, your own foods and exercises, workouts and manually entered weight are stored on our server in Germany (Frankfurt). The connection between your phone and the server is encrypted (HTTPS). Your data will never be sold or used for advertising.
Barcode scanner
When you look up a product by barcode, only the barcode number is sent to the open Open Food Facts database. Your name and other data are not sent.
Health data
Apple Health and Health Connect data never leaves your phone: it is used only to show it inside the app and to calculate scores. It is never sent to our server, never used for ads, never sold and never shared. If you allow it, finished workouts are saved to Health.
Service providers
Only the services the app needs to work: Google and Apple (sign-in: email and name), RevenueCat (checking your Pro subscription: account ID and purchase history, no card details), Google Play and the App Store (payments), Open Food Facts (barcode lookup: only the barcode number). The app has no ads, analytics or tracking services.
How long we keep it
Server data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, it is removed from the server immediately and disappears from backups within 14 days.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries inside the app. To delete your account: Profile → Account & Backup → Delete account. This immediately deletes your account and all data on the server and on your phone. To delete your account without the app, email support@bardam.uz from your account's email address. Health access can be revoked in your phone's settings.
